The UV map is set up to accomodate the specific texture format so don't draw outside the lines. Some CA textures may have transparency issues as a result of the port. No noticable performance issues with >100 objects on screen. Technical remarks: Shield mesh is 50 vertices (vanilla hoplite shield is 9 vertices iirc). Delete or rename the anim file to prevent it from overriding the vanilla hoplite. There is also a hoplie anim file which overrides the vanilla hoplite and is already set up to use the thureos shield so you can test your thureos textures in-game. Also use the Greek letters to write your name in Greek letters across the shield. Use the ReplaceTexture function in your anim mods to cycle between these HD textures which look absolutely beautiful in-game. Decorate the front of the shield with images, symbols, or patterns that represent your warrior personality. Suffice it to say, given the very shape and uncomplicated form of the Pilos helmet, the defensive equipment was easier to produce and cheaper to make (with comparatively less volume of metal required).
